Vernon Davis frustrated with QB chemistry

02:43 AM ET 12.19 | Vernon Davis is no stranger to speaking his mind, from calling out coaches to storming off the field during games. But he's got a new crusade that harkens back to Keyshawn Johnson's "Just Give Me the Damn Ball" days, and he's not happy with the chemistry that he has with the new starter Colin Kaepernick. While guys like Michael Crabtree and Randy Moss saw little production in the early weeks of the season with Smith under center, both have seen their value skyrocket with the deep throwing Kaepernick. With Crabtree and Moss becoming new favorite targets for Kaepernick, Davis has seen his targets drop. Davis commented that he's frustrated over having to rebuild chemistry with a new quarterback, but the 49ers winning should help him get over it.

Come to the Bears...

Davis just has to have more patience working with CK. The Seahawks defense will surely test CK, and Davis could end up having more opportunities IMO.

It's not about your stats ****! It's about what's best for your team. Is it in the water or didn't T.O. come from out there?

Actually... read the source article before you run your mouths... I don't recall reading him say that he is frustrated... He just says the chemistry isn't there yet and they are working on it... He makes no mention of stats, or how he wants the ball more, etc... Just simply says that they have to build the chemistry that he already had with Alex.... T&R is making more out of it that was actually said...

Gee would it possibly have anything at all to do with his contract that for sure stipulates X number of catches, X amount of extra moola paid out. No that can't be it.
Could it be that if he doesn't get X amount of catches his chances of being traded down the road and getting that big fat contract go to pieces as well. No of course not its never about da moony
