Oh I guess losing to Packers 6 times in a row has nothing to do with it. Bear fans always appreciate those kinds of drubbings. Losing to them has once again become their yearly staple just as it did in the Favre years. I guess that calls for three Cheers!!

I find it odd that pro athletes are always the last ones to understand the reasons why they are being booed by their own fans.

Never seen anything like the state of New York sports. Mets: Cy young winner.. trade him. Yankess...a must to pick up used up Red Sox use to be's. Jets...Sanchez is terrible, so lets start a guy who has been active once in 2 years, let the guy who led Denver to the playoffs and beat Pittsburg sit, that'll show'em who's boss. Knicks...Jeremy Lin,
ultra popular young talent, trade him. Brooklyn...Lets take the Nets from New Jersey where they were world beaters. No wonder all you guys move to Florida and try to run our state. Your sports could only be done this bad by government intervention.

Jets fans are pretty loud toward booing Sanchez

Briggs....please. Lions fans will boo their team for going three and out on their first series.

I was at the Bears Packers game and we were not booing Briggs or Urlacher, or Conte for that matter. Given all the injuries, the D played heroically. In any event, why don't players understand that we fans play their salaries and the coaches' salaries too, so if they stink, we hae every right to express our displeasure?

I guess Briggs expects the fans to just ignore a collaspe that has taken the Bears from 1st to out of the playoffs.

Wow, I hope none of these Bears ever get traded to the Eagles. They'd be in for a rude awakening.

I'm always amused when players complain about fans booing. Never hear them saying one thing about ticket prices being sky high and out of reach for many folks? With the astronomical earnings the guys make, shouldn't we have some latitude in our expectations? Afterall, we are footing the bill?

Honestly, it would be really weird if they cheered when the home teams suckks it up on the field. Now that would be really bad for his psyche.

Pretty far cry from what Packers' players say all the time: "we have the best fans in the world."

Don't the Bears play up in Detroit every year?
