USC's Clowney eyeing Heisman in 2013

08:12 AM ET 12.19 | South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, after only a year, already has a nice collection of honors, including consensus All-American, but he's aiming higher in 2013. A sophomore from Rock Hill, Clowney won the Hendricks Award as the nation's most outstanding defensive end and was a finalist for the Nagurski Award (nation's top defensive player) and the Lombardi Award (top defensive lineman or linebacker). Clowney finished sixth in the Heisman Trophy balloting, and said that winning that award was on his list for next season. "That's my next thing to get to, New York," he said. "So next season I'm going to come here and work harder than I did this season."

He's a very good player. I doubt he comes close to Derrick Thomas' 52 college sacks, but he'll be in a very respectable zip code.

Oh well, he choose a team that is barely bowling. He could have been a starter at UF.
The only recruiting issue I have with Muschamp is that he has missed on all of the big time WRs except Fulwood. Diggs and Aglohor would have made a huge impact.

Tee Martin is doing a great job developing WRs. I understand why Algohor went there, USC has develop a lot of high draft pick WRs recently. UF has not since Harvin and Murphy.
