It's a high-risk gamble, especially considering the other teams involved feel they have as good a shot as the other to land Parker.

If the concern is quality of education, I agree. I think MSU has an advantage due to location. This kid values relationships; with his family and with his coach. I know he is close to Izzo, I suspect he is close to Coach K. He doesn't sound like a one and done kind of guy. So it comes down to best school for academics vs best school to stay close to his family. (Now watch the kid pick BYU and make me look stupid - not that I need any help with that.)
