02:09 PM ET 12.19 | On Wednesday, the NFL announced plans to live stream Super Bowl XLVII alongside its TV broadcast on CBS. Fans can watch on CBS, or they can access the game at NFL.com or CBSSports.com. Users of Verizon's NFL Mobile app can stream the game on their phones, as well. The broadcast will be the same, but as is the usual case for online streaming, there will be some extra functionality, including more camera angles, in-game highlights, live statistics and "other interactive elements." According to the release, this season's Pro Bowl and NBC's Wild Card Saturday doubleheader games will also be broadcast in the same manner, but on NBCSports.com as well as the official NFL.com site.

Cool now I can watch the game on my iPad or laptop instead of that crappy 65 inch plasma.

Or - you can watch it on your iPad or laptop while away from the 65" plasma taking a crap...

But I have a TV in the bathroom already for that. Guess I could hookup the laptop for the hallway going to the bathroom and put the iPad inside the fridge when getting a beer.

Yeah that's the ticket thanks Otis!

I used to have 2 conveniently located mirrors.

1 makes everything backwards.

2 puts things into the proper perspective.

Now I simply press "Pause"....

Sunday Ticket is also wonderful as you can flit about during all those early games.

But my 6 barreled PVR is the cats pajamas for afternoon slates when only 3 games are on.

I'll record all 3 and watch till I catch up to live TV on each, jumping between plays etc. Maybe even slip in a NASCAR race or F1.

Add RedZone to that and you've got a picture of Sundays at Deej Manor. Ours is just a TiVo Premier, so it only has five tuners (rec 4, watch 1), but on Sundays it's got all available games and RedZone recording. Now and then I try to think back to what football was like before TiVo, but I seem to have blocked out all memory of it like a bad relationship.

Um... no. Will they get me in trouble with Homeland Security? Or whatever department it is that executes those who remove the tags from mattresses?

[REPEATING] tivo secret tips and tweeks

Whoa! I have to thank you. I figured it'd all be stuff requiring major hardware tweaking. I'm no good at that kind of thing. But a lot of the tricks listed on the website I found (because of your comment) are easy. And they do things I've wanted to be able to do. So thanks! I had no idea.
