04:29 PM ET 12.19 | Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was held out of Wednesday's practice, via ESPN 1500. Vikings beat writer Tom Pelissero reported it was just another day of rest for the team's feature back. Peterson has been on an incredible record-setting pace, thrashing run defenses all over the league and threatening 2,000 yards. He has been impossible to stop and should present problems for the Houston Texans in Week 16.
