Oregon boosters tired of Chip Kelly?

04:18 PM ET 12.19 | Chip Kelly's been the most successful football coach Oregon's ever had. With the NFL looking like a very possible destination for the master of one of football's fastest offensive attacks, at least one Ducks booster might not be all that sad to see him go. Kelly doesn't appear to be a big fan of all the non-football business associated with being a college coach, to say the least.

The boosters should be careful what they wish for.

Spot on with that. I am sitting here remembering the "hey day" of Duck football but now that the purple haze has worn off I realized it was just one big hallucination. Face it Duck fans . . . you SUCK and you have always SUCKED.

This guy came along and picked up where Mike Belotti left off and put you on the Gdamn map. You were merely filler <hit before that. You were just a W for every other team in the Lack 12. Now that you are in the conversation you want to switch coaches???

As J Manziel says be careful what you wish for.

I was about to post just that. Look at Southern Miss. Fired a winning coach and have not done very well since.

Chipper doesn't like all the non-football stuff around a college program? Does he think the NoFunLeague will be any better about that? All the media, pressers, postgame shows, etc ain't going away, Mr Chip, and will only likely get worse. You just won't have to run around recruiting HS players, that's all.

Boosters.
Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

December 19, 2012  07:50 PM ET

Hopefully they send Chip packing then. Hopefully.

It's time for Chip to graduate.

Funny. yesterday I read somewhere that a big part of the reason that Saban left Miami was because the NFL was nothing BUT football with none of the side distractions that one has in the college ranks. Maybe the NFL is Chip's destiny afterall.

Frag the boosters. Accept whatever funds are provided by the settlement of the last Will and Testament.
