08:02 AM ET 12.20 | These days, Chan Gailey isn't all that fond of numbers -- and who could blame him? Keep that in mind when reading this: The Bills are on pace to give up a franchise record for most points allowed and the second-most yards allowed in team history. ... Gailey's three-year run as coach will go down as the worst stretch of defensive football in franchise history. It's all but assured the Bills will have three of the four worst scoring defenses in the club's history and three of the five worst seasons in regards to yards allowed since Gailey took over. What's frustrating for players and coaches is that Sunday's 50-spot came after they thought they had turned the corner on defense. Statistics would say that was true.

Yeah - their defense isn't good at all.

Neither is the dude in the picture.

Andy Reid's new home?

December 20, 2012  09:11 AM ET

Apparently, the defense turned around the wrong corner.

Defense spends so much time on the field because the offense is off after 3 plays. So much hype in the preseason. Poor poor Buffalo fans, can never catch a break.

How far a once mighty franchise....has fallen. They should trade or sit Fitz, and go after Alex Smith.

....and is going the wrong way, on a one way street.

What is so surprising about this? Everyone knew Gailey was a re-tread failed coach when he was hired. The feeling was that he was a desperation hire by the Bills when no one else would take the job.

I agree with you in the fact that this comes as no huge surprise. Other coaches would have taken the job, coaching any team in the NFL is huge, but management had blinders on... they haven't taken them off either.

For sure.

Chan certainly led Dallas to the promised land, there was every reason to expect success in Buffalo.

OK. I lied.

I thought the NFL was going to move the Bills to Toronto in 2014?

Or Buffalo, Montana maybe?

The only real question is who is the worse coach, Chan Gaily or Rex Ryan?
