Big Baby injury may be serious

08:07 AM ET 12.20 | The Magic lost another big man, though this one didn't head to Los Angeles. On Wednesday, the day a grassroots campaign began asking for fans to vote Glen Davis into the all-star game as a write-in candidate, he gets hurt. The Magic's 290-pound power forward sustained a shoulder injury late in the fourth quarter, and it looked serious. Tests have to be run, but if Davis is out for any length of time, the Magic will lose their most potent and consistent inside presence. ... He left holding his shoulder, and to me it was reminiscent to how Jameer Nelson wrecked his shoulder in 2009, [tearing] his rotator cuff and bicep. We'll see how severe the damage might be. What does Jacque Vaughn do as long as Davis is out? He has few options.

QUOTE(#6):

Davis and Arron Afflalo both average a team-best 16.0 points per game, and Davis is second on the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.9 boards per game. But Davis adds a grit and an intensity that has helped propel the Magic to surprising heights. This season, his first as a co-captain, he also seems to have matured, channeling his emotions in a positive direction.

Nice to see an LSU player excel in the NBA...even if on a bad team.
