Utah State promoting OC to coach

02:18 PM ET 12.20 | New Wisconsin coach Gary Andersen was reportedly looking to import much of his Utah State staff to Madison. But offensive coordinator Matt Wells appears to be staying behind in Logan. Wells, 38, was quarterbacks coach at Utah State in 2011 and the offensive coordinator in 2012. In both seasons, the Aggies set and then broke school record for total yards in a season. Under his offensive guidance, Utah State (11-2) won 10 or more games in a season for the first time in school history.
