Fisher to sit for 3 games

04:50 PM ET 12.20 | Dallas Mavericks guard Derek Fisher will miss the team's next three games with a right patella strain, the Mavericks announced on Thursday. Fisher had emerged as the team's starting point guard after being signed in the middle of the season, but with his absence, Darren Collison will have a chance to wrestle the job back. Collison was expected to be the starter, but was benched due to erratic play.
