04:56 PM ET 12.20 | Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol was on the bench when the team was engaged in a surprising dogfight with the Charlotte Bobcats late on Tuesday. Gasol has normally been diplomatic about his struggles this season, but he was determined to speak out about coach Mike D'Antoni's decision to sit him. "Hopefully it won't happen too often," Gasol said. "When the game is on the line, I need to be on the court. That's what I get paid to do."

I actually wouldn't mind that deal, though I'd like to see Nash play a little with the Lakers first.

Goodbye Pau! The coach don't want you obviously and Kobe got his back. You're time is done w/ the Lakers. Your service are not needed anymore. You have been given the death stare. You're the true scapegoat... If I were you just ask to be traded immediately or else you'll be sent to Siberia just like Starbury!

I agree that Pau should Ask to be traded.

This way the Lakers faithful can correct you when you say he was our scapegoat. We'll just remind you that he jumped ship by Asking to be traded!
