10:10 PM ET 12.20 | The Minnesota Timberwolves waived the 32-year-old small forward Josh Howard on Thursday, after MRI results showed that Howard had torn the ACL in his right knee. Howard was signed to a one-year contract to fill the void left by Chase Budinger, who was set to miss at least three months of action with a torn meniscus in his knee. The Timberwolves have seemingly been cursed this year, as the majority of the team's roster has battled injury in this young season.

That's what happens when you sign a non guaranteed contract. I think that if your injured on 'the job' you are entitled to that years salary.

I know it sucks for him but he has made over 40 million in career earnins so I don't think he's tight for cash.
