Turris open to Finland return in 2013

08:18 AM ET 12.21 | Kyle Turris continued his effort Thursday to set the record straight on his Finnish experience. In [a Tuesday newspaper report], Turris had several harsh quotes which criticized his living conditions in Finland and made it appear as though he was thoroughly unhappy with his time overseas. "I read it for the first time and I was extremely upset," Turris told reporters on Thursday. "It put a very negative characterization of my experience over there. It was the opposite." ... Turris said that as soon as he was done reading the article, he picked up the phone and called the general manager of his Karpat Oulu club team in Finland. The two spoke at length and the door remains open for Turris to return to the club in 2013.
