12:39 PM ET 12.21 | New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will not be available to play in Week 16's meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to a report by Shalise Young of the Boston Globe on Friday afternoon. Gronkowski has not played since breaking his forearm against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. The 23-year-old tight end sustained the injury while blocking on a New England extra point attempt. Gronkowski registered seven receptions on the day for 137 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots ultimately won the game by a final score of 59-24.

The Globe still seems upset about Gronk being in during a blowout. No doubt Belichick agrees with them. He's probably calling up the writer right now to apologize because Bill understands that the media knows more about football than anybody.
