07:01 PM ET 12.21 | The Alabama Crimson Tide defensive unit will be receiving a boost next season, thanks to an unexpected announcement made by junior linebacker C.J. Mosley. Mosley announced on Friday that he will return to Alabama for his senior season. Mosley was believed to be considering early entry into the 2013 NFL Draft, where he likely would have been a first-round selection. Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban confirmed the news today. "C.J. is an outstanding player and a really good leader," Saban said in quotes distributed by the team. "He's a guy that can have a tremendous impact on the game. We are really pleased and happy to have him back. This guy is one that will make you proud. He, personally, academically and athletically has done extremely well in every way in terms of how he has represented himself, his family, our program and The University of Alabama."

In other words his draft prospects are slim or he couldn't afford to take a pay cut.

IMO the media needs to give more attention to guys like this, and less attention to the idiot clowns who don't give a rat's behind about anything but football.
