07:15 PM ET 12.21 | This Sunday, the Bengals will be looking to reach the NFL playoffs for the fourth time in 11 seasons under Lewis. Not even the great Paul Brown was able to lead Cincinnati to the postseason four times, and it would be just another franchise-first that Lewis would have under his belt. A win Sunday and a loss by the Baltimore Ravens would give the Bengals a chance to win the AFC North in their Week 17 showdown. Lewis would then become the only head coach to ever lead the Bengals to three division titles. Love him or hate, you can't deny what he's done for the Cincinnati Bengals franchise.

"You can't deny what he's done for the Cincinnati Bengals franchise."
No. No, you can't. He allowed them to be a mediocre playoff team in 4 of his 11 seasons, with the other 7 being just plain, old terrible.

He's only reached the playoffs 4 of the last 11 seasons.

Because he works for the worst owner in sports who doesn't like change or bringing new people into the circus sideshow of an organization that he inherited from daddy and then ran into the ground. And Lewis also knows he won't have a chance at getting another NFL head coaching job so he will milk this tiger for as long as he can.

I notice they totally managed to gloss over the two coaches that actually got the Bengals into the Super Bowl. Well played.

With all the draft choices and talent they have on their team they should be a better team than they are. Has anyone ever pointed that out to Lewis and his coaching staff?

The Bengals have been above .500 in only 4 of those 11 seasons as well.
