07:21 PM ET 12.21 | Eric Gordon is on his way back from injury, but the question is can he help turn things around now? Another question is how will he be perceived after his bouts behind the scenes with management even after getting a huge deal? After signing an offer sheet with the Phoenix Suns, he stated that that the city was just "where his heart is right now." Risky words for a restricted free agent to be spouting. While Gordon is remorseful of his actions, he considered it a negotiation tactic at the time. It may not have been the best way to go about getting more money on the table, but if owners can be ruthless why can't players be the same way?

Hornets screwed this guy over big time.

Not only did he want to go to Phoenix for several personal reasons but the main reason he wanted to go is because of the medical staff they have (look at Hill and Nash right now).
