09:24 AM ET 12.22 | An NFL agent who has represented at least 12 players -- including four former Big Ten players -- has been working as a game analyst for the Big Ten Network, Yahoo! Sports has learned. Chris Martin, who played cornerback for Northwestern University from 1992-95 is now listed as the President of OTG Sports Management, based in Evanston, Ill. Martin was also certified as an agent by the NFL Players Association in 2006 and later hired by the Big Ten Network to serve in an on-air capacity in 2007. In addition to his role as a game analyst, Martin also appears on BTN's "Football and Beyond" and "Big Ten Football Report." The dual positions of agent and BTN analyst have rubbed some agents the wrong way, and led to complaints that Martin is unfairly positioned to sign clients through his TV role. When contacted by Yahoo! Sports, a BTN spokesperson said the network was unaware that Martin was also an agent, and said it would take action to resolve what it viewed as a conflict of interest.

Neither is OU.

Another case of the "stupidity" argument The BTN says it was too stupid to perform a background check here. I wonder how stupid it has been with the other "analysts" it has?

Isn't AAU the org that gets BB Players to certain colleges and there is a possible scandal with them? Wouldn't want to be in that group.

::this is sarcasm in case your meter's are broken::

How are you doing Dr...last I heard you were having a tough time at work and not much off time....

Great...me too. Just got told by my daughter that I need to buy one more present for my wife (she monitors the presents to make sure we equal out...lol), so will be doing that this afternoon. Other than that, lounging around, watching football/grandsons and having a blast.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Frankly, I don't give a sheet if he's an agent or not. He does a pretty solid job on the B1G Net. As for other agents being upset.... get over it. I see agents on TV often... next question!

They didn't know about this? I didn't realize Jim Tressel was running the BTN.
