Ravens won't let Flacco get away

06:23 PM ET 12.22 | The Baltimore Ravens are expected to franchise tag quarterback Joe Flacco after the season absent a longterm deal. The two sides have discussed a new deal dating back to last summer and nothing has gotten done yet so finalizing something after the season may be a long shot at this point. Flacco has had a decent but not great season throwing 20 touchdowns to 10 interceptions through 14 games.

Hmmmm. Flacco has been largely unhappy in Baltimore, both for having to play under Cameron for years and for taking crap from both his teammates and a sizable chunk of the fans for "wasting" the best performing years of the Ravens' D. Now the front office plans to franchise him to keep him from free agency.
...
Oh yeah...this will end well.
