06:27 AM ET 12.23 | With NCAA sanctions possibly coming for the University of Oregon, this might be the year that coach Chip Kelly makes the jump to the NFL. He won't lack for suitors. NFL.com's Albert Breer reported Friday on NFL Network's "Around the League" that Kelly is expected to have multiple suitors, including the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers as "likely" options. (That's if Ron Rivera loses his job.) Panthers fans can start drooling now thinking about Kelly and Cam Newton together.

Neither do I and I question that it exists anywhere outside the media. There are plenty of people ahead of him with real NFL experience. And that kind of experience matters.

I don't know...he's got a ton of talent but might have snakes in his head. Wouldn't get much sleep coaching that guy.

I wonder if his philosophy translates to NFL players and game plans? I agree on the need for experience. A lot of hot college coaches go to the NFL and stink it up.
