07:36 AM ET 12.24 | Rick Adelman had a different take than Mike Woodson after watching Carmelo Anthony outscore Minnesota, 19-18, all by himself in the fourth quarter Sunday. At the end, Adelman seethed over a series of calls. ... At the end, he pointed out how officials consulted after the final buzzer to determine if the Knicks were due two more free throws in a game already decided. "I'm glad they got that last call right, and I'm glad they waited five minutes to make sure that the game was over," Adelman said in a terse postgame address that lasted fewer than 30 seconds. "That was good. It really made a big difference, making sure they got that one right. That's all I have to say. I'm not going to get fined, so I'm sorry."

How is this a surprise ? Of course the Knicks are going to get special treatment this season. For the first time in years, they have a good team that can go deep into the Playoffs, so Stern and the refs will do everything they can to help them. Just like the league helped get them into the Finals in '94 and '99.

Thank god hakeem was so fricking awsome that the 95 knicks never won that series :D

LOL..cmon bro...Melo is playing like the mvp and he is getting the ish hacked out of him on a nightly basis . If you watch the kniscks you will see what im sayingThe knicks never get any calls

Can you believe these morons talking about the knicks getting special treatment with the calls. It is very obvious that these fools absolutely could not have watched the Knicks vs Bulls game, a complete and disgraceful display of officiating. The refs should have been suspended for the disgrace, yet you didn't have any Knicks fans, particularly Apple, on this site crying and bitchinnn about nothing. Now you have these avid Knicks hatin bittcheees crying, whatta a fuccckkkiin joke. This is Apple!

"It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight. Or it could be that his head wasn't screwed on just right. But I think that the most likely reason of all... may have been that his heart was two sizes too small. But, whatever the reason, his heart or his shoes, he stood there on Christmas Eve hating the Whos. Staring down from his cave, with a sour grinchy frown, at the warm, lighted windows below in their town. For he knew that every Who down in Whoville beneath was busy now, hanging a holly who wreath."
