07:44 AM ET 12.24 | He may be the smallest guy on the court most nights, but Phil Pressey's impact on Missouri's season is significant. Every night, he is the most irreplaceable Tiger on the floor. Every night, Mizzou coach Frank Haith understands that there just isn't enough time or responsibility that he can place in Pressey's highly influential hands. So, how big a surprise was it on a night when Pressey shot an abysmal three-for-19 from the floor (including an unsightly 0-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc) that he still was the most important player in a Missouri uniform? Whatever the Tigers accomplish this season and however higher they climb in the national polls, it will all depend on Pressey's play.
