05:01 PM ET 12.24 | The college career of wide receiver Duron Carter failed to live up to expectations. Duron, the son of former Minnesota Vikings receiver Cris Carter, entered college in 2009 as a four star recruit for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Carter was ranked the No. 11 wideout in the nation and his family roots had everyone excited about his potential. Now, it appears that Carter's career has officially come to an end after four stops. Florida Atlantic Owls head coach Carl Pelini confirmed over the weekend that Carter would be leaving the school. He is now expected to enter the 2013 NFL Draft. Carter began his college career at Ohio State before transferring to the JUCO level with Coffeyeville (Kansas) Community College. Carter than went to transferred to Alabama before finding his way to FAU. His failures in the classroom were a big reason for Carter's disappointing career.
