05:06 PM ET 12.24 | Miami Heat star forward LeBron James could once again become a free agent if he decides to opt out of his contract following the 2013-14 season. The reality is that James will opt out of his contract in order to get another five-year max deal from the Heat, but reality hasn't stopped people from dreaming up scenarios for the King's future. One of those scenarios is something nobody would have ever imagined - a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jason Lloyd of the Beacon-Journal talked about the Cavaliers' long-term rebuilding plans and he sees a scenario that could bring James back to his home state. Lloyd wrote: "And yes, believe it or not, he will give Cleveland a close look. He has a relationship with (Kyrie) Irving and (Tristan) Thompson. His new agent, Rich Paul, is a local guy who has long been a close friend. Paul also represents Thompson. A number of pieces are aligning, but the biggest draw is missing."

As long as the throne is in the bathroom.
I love him in Miami but i know things can change. Perhaps where ever he winds up they will have a more complete team. He makes it look so easy but a team that is nine deep would be a luxury for a change.

Really? After the owner came out and called him a POS? I'd say he'd rather play in Toronto, Sacramento, and even the Bobcats before limping back there.

Seems to me that what we have here is a reporter trying his darndest to stir up a bit of sports interest in a city mired in multiple losing seasons courtesy of its local teams. Give up all hope Cleveland fans... it jest ain't gonna happen.

Now then Cousins is now at odds with his coach and kings management yes?
Cleveland more than any team needs to bite on this....
I was thinking about him in Toronto but probably won't happen.
So if Cleveland can somehow get Cousins, then take into account Irving, Waiters,Thompson,Gee if Lebron wants to return their they should make the finals....
Cousins & Marcus Thornton for Verejao...
