08:05 AM ET 12.25 | Osi Umenyiora sees change on the Giants horizon, and he may be a central figure in that change after the franchise's disappointing Super Bowl title defense. [Umenyiora] takes it for granted he will be gone. ... Umenyiora threw the entire team under the bus Monday when he tried to defend the pass rush -- down from 48 sacks last year to 32 this year -- after he was asked if it was less likely he will be back in 2013 because of the losing. "Well, maybe we didn't get 50 sacks like we did last year, but was the offense playing well? Was the special teams playing ... There's nowhere that was up to the standards that we set last year," he said. "If they're going to make changes, it has to be wholesale changes. Everybody has to leave. There has to be changes for everybody."

He wont unless Dallas does not re-sign Spencer.

Osi is a 4-3 DE, he wont fit into the 3-4 Ryan runs. He would get beat left and right on the edge in coverage as well.

Spencer is showing that when he gets to rush the passer more, he can get there with some creativity, so I would re sign him.

You call going from division leader to not even making the playoffs in 7 weeks...not bad?? Remember, they ARE defending SB champs so yes, it IS that bad...team fell apart over the 2nd half yet AGAIN..SMH

Did Osi do anything at all himself this year? Unless you are playing well, shut your face.
Isn't this the same team that won it all last year?

They can't expect to win it all every year, in fact they wern't the best all last year, they got hot, and lucky, and this year they didn't. The dark horse this year is Indy.
