WKU RB eyes breaking Barry Sanders' record

08:23 AM ET 12.26 | Antonio Andrews isn't one of those players blissfully adding yards to his ledger without understanding his place in history. The Western Kentucky junior running back is taking aim at Barry Sanders' 24-year-old single-season all-purpose yards record tonight against Central Michigan at the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl, in the city where Sanders became a household name. "It will probably be on my mind after halftime," Andrews said. "I'm just trying to get the lead out there, to set the tone." Andrews is 273 yards short of Sanders' 3,250 all-purpose yards with Oklahoma State in 1988. He has rushed for 1,609 yards, has 411 yards receiving and, including kick and punt returns, has totaled 15 touchdowns this year.
