10:54 AM ET 12.26 | The Philadelphia Eagles have placed starting quarterback Nick Foles on the injured reserve, according to the Eagles' official Twitter account. Foles broke his hand this past weekend against the Washington Redskins. Foles, a rookie, took over for struggling veteran Michael Vick midway through the 2012 season. In seven games this season (six starts), Foles completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,699 yards. He threw six touchdowns and five interceptions, while getting sacked 20 times.
