02:48 PM ET 12.26 | The Cleveland Browns have signed free agent quarterback Josh Johnson. Johnson was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but never got a chance to be a starting quarterback for an extended period of time. He signed with the 49ers back in March to reunite with Jim Harbaugh, who coached Johnson at the University of San Diego. Johnson will likely backup Thad Lewis and Colt McCoy when the Browns take on the Steelers in the regular season finale. Starting quarterback Brandon Weeden is dealing with a shoulder injury.

The Browns don't need Josh Johnson. They need Calvin Johnson, and Andre Johnson, and Chris Johnson, and Derrick Johnson.
