03:03 PM ET 12.26 | In the latest chapter of the ongoing saga of sadness that is the New York Jets' quarterback situation, Week 16 starter Greg McElroy is considered questionable for the season finale due to an, "abdominal issue," according to the NY Daily News. He will practice on Wednesday, according to Rex Ryan. McElroy made his first professional start in last week's 27-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers after the Jets finally decided to bench incumbent starter Mark Sanchez. The second-year pro out of Alabama often looked overwhelmed by the Chargers' pass rush, getting sacked 11 times while completing only 14 passes.

I can't picture Tebow being sacked 11 times.

December 26, 2012  03:17 PM ET

December 26, 2012  03:25 PM ET

Wait....he's back!!!!!

Abdominal injury? He's probably sick to his stomach of being on that team.

Not even the Raiders are run this badly.

No question. I say they go wildcat the whole game and play WITHOUT a quarterback. What can it hurt? Both Sanchez and Tebow might turn Rex down.

I'll bet he wouldn't lose the ball by running into his O-line. Who would be that inept you say? Think about it.

This is like coughing and blowing your nose when you were a little kid and didn't want to go to school that day.

And Rex is falling for it.

Rex would rather chew off his own foot than put Tebow in

That's why Rex sucks as a coach.
