'Dwight Howard is basically Kosta Koufos'

08:08 AM ET 12.27 | His relative absences are becoming more conspicuous. People are starting to notice. "Dwight Howard is basically Kosta Koufos" was the message I got from one NBA insider midway through the Lakers' loss Wednesday night in Denver, referring to the Nuggets' largely anonymous center. ... [Is] Howard simply content with being a Laker and having the majority of the pressure falling on Bryant and Nash to save the season? And will Howard wait until he is "the man" and Bryant is retired before truly accepting the responsibility of playing like a superstar every night? Dangerous conclusions are there to be jumped to when you let the people make Koufos comparisons and see you getting killed by [Kenneth Faried on Wednesday].

Was DH supposed to be checking Corey last night? Because who ever allowed Corey to get his career high in points is probably the reason the Lakers lost.

Wasn't Kobe supposed to be guarding Corey.

The Lakers and their fans will never come to reality. As long as Kobe is guarding the perimeter, they are going nowhere. Kobe can stop NO ONE.

However since he dropped 40pts no one will noticed that he gave up 44pts between Dre and Corey.

I said it before, regardless of Nash or Gasol playing well, the lakers biggest issue was they gave up to many points. The lost to the Cavs was simply not playing any defense.

Where do you think this headline ranks on SVG's list of gifts this holiday season?

Dwight is and Average player....get used to it. Yes he was on a team that made the Eastern Finals but he didn't do it on his own. Hedo played the lights out and earned himself a big pay day by the dummies that run the Raptors.

Good morning, Russ.I notice you are warming up the Ghost account since Miami beat OKC. Thinking you may need a backup plan? :)

Hey like they say the season doesn't start until after Christmas.

Nah no backup plan needed. The Heat are still the class of the NBA. In a series no team can match their versatility.

For me as long as Spurs beat the Lakers over and over again. Life is good.

Average players are multiple rebounding, blocks and DPOY winners? LOL

I think he's over-rated.
And the Lakers and The mighty Raptors have the same winning streak now!
