Hudler's overseas nightmare continues

08:21 AM ET 12.27 | Forgive Jiri Hudler if his holiday wish has to do with better luck. The Calgary Flames prized off-season free-agent signee was taken to hospital Wednesday after being hit in the neck by a skate during a Czech league game. Fortunately, the injury was minor. "He's got couple stitches but the blade didnt hit artery. Incident took place in 59. minute of the game" reported broadcaster Roman Jedlicka via Twitter. It's the second time Hudler has been injured. He started the season with Lev Praha of the KHL, but suffered an abdominal injury after four games. He returned to action last week with Trinec in the Czech Republic and scored a pair of goals in his debut, but was hurt in his second game.
