12:35 PM ET 12.27 | Arizona Cardinals have had some difficulty with stability at the quarterback position. Brian Hoyeris set to start quarterback in Week 17. He will be the Cards' fourth starting passer this season, and his first task will be a daunting one at that. On Sunday, the Cardinals will take on their division rival, the San Francisco 49ers. It could be a long day for Brian Hoyer and this Arizona offense. Hoyer will be the sixth starting QB for the Cardinals in the last three years.

It's Brian Hoyer's first pro start.
I think I can speak for most New England fans in wishing our former backup well.
It would be ironic if Hoyer and the Cards could beat the Niners, when Brady and the Pats couldn't, huh?
Nah. I'm just being silly.

Poor Cardinals. Maybe they should change their logo or something. It might distract a few angry fans for minutes at a time.

Why is it a daunting task? It's not like anyone is expecting the cards to win no matter who the qb is.
