02:39 PM ET 12.27 | The Brooklyn Nets have been on a losing streak since getting off to an 11-4 start this season. Now, after losing 10 of 13 games in December, the Nets have been forced to pull the trigger and fire head coach Avery Johnson. With Johnson out, assistant coach P.J. Carlesimo has been promoted to interim head coach. Carlesimo was previously a head coach with Portland, Golden State and Oklahoma City. Since being named the Nets head coach in 2010, Avery has a record of 60-116.

Did the Nets really think that a geographical move across the New York Harbour (Hudson) was going to make them different? No fools, they are who we thought they were. Then you had ex-Knicks faithful Jigga hollerin about New York City is under new management (the Nets). Now you talk about some funny $hiit here, I mean this that type ah $hiit is laughable and only morons across the nations would give that moronic assertion crediablity. This is Apple bringin you cats back to reality.

It clearly is D-Williams' problem, he is just looking for a puppet coach, a coach like Erik Spoelstra

Avery was just fine for this team. Dwill is the wrong person here.

Plus Lopez was playing like crap after coming back from his injury. His timing was so bad, that dude couldn't even catch passes clean .

Clearly this team's front office doesn't have a clue about what they are doing. Why fire the coach? If the players are not responding, maybe it is the players.

Dwill was shooting like crap. Was AJ supposed to shoot his jumpers for him too?

Avery was not this team's problem. They will find that out real soon.
