04:03 PM ET 12.27 | The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Thursday that the players have voted tight end Heath Miller as the team's most valuable player in 2012. Miller, an eight-year veteran with Pittsburgh, was also named to his second Pro Bowl earlier in the week. The tight end was on pace to have the best season of his career before suffering a right knee injury. The team placed Miller on the Injured Reserve list on Wednesday, which will cause the tight end to miss the season finale against the Cleveland Browns. Miller currently leads the team with 71 receptions, which would be the first time since 1993 that a tight end led Pittsburgh in receptions if his lead holds. Miller's 71 receptions is five short of his career high, but his 816 receiving yards and eight touchdowns are the best numbers of his career.

Miller deserves the MVP, he is one of the best TE in the league. I hope all goes well with his knee and he is back sooner than later.

If your Boys can go into next season with a certain running back understanding that the Team is the most important thing it would help also.

Rashard? Yeah tough year for him, contract up and everything possible going wrong. Problem is the Steelers are reasonably well stocked at that position so I would think he's out looking for a new team after this week
