08:06 AM ET 12.28 | If the Giants season ends without a playoff appearance, something statistically likely, who will take the most heat? Perry Fewell is not blaming himself for the Giants failures on defense in recent weeks. Instead, the Giants' defensive coordinator is saying all of his players have been in position and they're just not getting the job done. "We prepared better than what we played," Fewell said after Thursday's practice. "I think if you look at the tape, we're in position to make plays, and we haven't made plays." The Giants have lost their past two games by a combined score of 67-14, with Fewell's defense now ranked 30th out of 32 teams in giving up 387.8 yards per game.

Players blaming coaches...Coaches blaming players...soon ownership will blame Coaches and the exodus starts. What a difference a year makes.

The Giants are playing with head-n-butt syndrome. The utter lack of care or commitment to the team is embarrassing. Should the Giants phone in their final game, I say sack both players and coaches and take the next few years to evaluate and rebuild.

Most teams wait until they're eliminated from the playoff race before they start pointing fingers and melting down. Guess the Giants want to beat the crowds.

The Giants have a history, after their Super Bowl wins, of falling apart somewhat.
That said, they have Super Bowl wins.

True that. I'd take a some meltdowns if it meant getting a SB win every few years.

Exactly. Nothing from this season can take away those SB moments of pure awesomeness.
And honestly, watching the Skins and the Boys duke it out makes me glad to be a part of the NFC East. NFCE rivalries were something special, and hopefully they return to their former glory days as the next few seasons progress. Even though I don't like playing against him, I'm glad RGIII is in our division. Gotta mix things up in order to grow.
