08:22 AM ET 12.28 | By virtue of his position, quarterback for the nation's No. 1 team, AJ McCarron has the spotlight on him just about all the time. So it should be no surprise to anyone that multiple news outlets report on his social life outside the lines. The fact that the Mobile native is dating Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb was just too good to pass up. That alone would be news. The fact that she is a graduate of Auburn just makes it more fun for those following the story. Webb was born in Montgomery, calls Phenix City her hometown and graduated from Auburn in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration, according to NBC.com. She won the title of Miss Alabama USA 2012 in January.

Could throw off his balance, making it more likely he might pull more on one side of the jersey than the other, thereby possibly creating an off-center visual anomaly that could potentially draw the eye of the ref.
