08:14 AM ET 12.28 | Avery Johnson had worn out his welcome in a hurry in New Jersey and Brooklyn, though it may not be the only reason the Nets are now looking for a new coach. [Truth] be told, the demise of Deron Williams' career makes this job less appealing every day. As much as Johnson's own craving for control, the biggest issue for the coach has been the regression of Williams. With Williams no longer playing like a superstar guard and grumbling over Johnson's offense the way he used to grumble over Jerry Sloan's in his final Jazz days, no one with significant coaching options will be dying to take over with him as the centerpiece. ... [Billy King[ sold Williams on Brooklyn, and now he needs to sell a coach on his franchise player.

You guys seem to the think the Nets are not who we thought they are. Got news for ya, a geographical relocations doesn't make you a better team. Simply moving across the New York Harbour(Hudson) doesn't change any bum ass thing aboutcha if you're a bum ass outfit, which the Nets are.

Now all the pundits are gonna go about the business of blaming D-Will for the failures of the ever failing franchise. What Sloan, Johnson and most fail to realize is that teams have to much invested in players and are not going to get short returns on their investment even if they have to fire the coach, and that means whether the coach is right or wrong.

Ask yourselves this....if Lebron, Wade and Bosh, a over three hundred million dollar investment were disgruntle with Spos and his coaching style, who do you think is going to go? Yeah, you guessed it. Its no different with Johnson, Williams, Wallace and a few others were disappointed in Johnson's style of coaching and guess what? Johnson's ass is ghost.

So go right ahead with the barrage of posts telling us how its Williams fault and how he is a coach killer, but I betcha this, Sloan, Johnson, and now yall, have now gotten a dose of reality. The players have power, like it or not! Apple!
