Nick Newell not likely to get UFC invite anytime soon

11:47 AM ET 12.28 | Will one-armed MMA fighter Nick Newell get a chance to compete in the UFC? According to UFC President Dana White, it's highly unlikely. "It's hard to fight here with two arms," said White after yesterday's UFC 155 press conference in Las Vegas, Nev. "It's tough. There's guys that we bring in that are considered top guys on The Ultimate Fighter that don't ever really pan out and make it." White expressed a number of concerns, most notably, the ability for Newell to get sanctioned to compete in one of the more important states for combat sports. "Will the state of Nevada let him fight? Will the state of California let him fight? Would some of these bigger athletic commissions let him fight? Maybe he can get away with that in some of these other states. I don't know, fighting with one arm is just craziness to me," he said.
