12:55 PM ET 12.28 | New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski(forearm) was limited in practice on Thursday. Gronk hasn't played since breaking his forearm in Week 11. He's expected to be back for the playoffs, but his Week 17 status remains up in the air. Before the injury, Gronk was having another elite season, with 53 catches for 748 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games.

i just assume gronk stay off the field sunday in a semi-meaningless game [esp.] if houston and denver are beating their teams [houston @ indy/1-pm; and kc @ denver/4pm],....maybe the pats can get a decent-lead and holdoff miami in the 4th-qrt.,.....pats starters need rest ASAP !
