MJD having surgery

01:35 PM ET 12.28 | Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is undergoing surgery on Friday in North Carolina to help the healing process on his ailing foot. The Jags announced via Twitter today that Jones-Drew would have surgery in Charlotte, which would keep him off the field until May. The team has certainly missed his production on the field this season, as they rank 30th in the NFL with just 83.1 rushing yards per season. The Jaguars placed Jones-Drew on injured reserve earlier Friday.
