04:03 PM ET 12.28 | The San Francisco 49ers have officially placed WR Mario Manningham (knee) on injured reserve, ending his 2012 season. The move is more of a formality as Manningham tore his ACL and PCL in the Sunday night blowout against Seattle. The 49ers promoted DT Tony Jerod-Eddie from the practice squad to take his place. Manningham finishes his season with 42 catches for 449 yards and one touchdown.
