I think ZZ Top is his first choice!

I hope he goes to the Yankees so he has to shave.

I hope he shaves.

Fixed.

He's just had his second Tommy John surgery. I hope whatever team picks him up gives him a low-price, incentive-laden contract.

Oh, and the obvious joke here: He should cut that beard by half while he's at it....

surgeries are the biggest fear in any sports, very difficult to be able to overcome adversity,
but players do had certain amount of time to either been able to regain their pitching abilities or just keeping growing injuries until the arm or shoulder shotsdown for good,
the worse enemy in the players its been a refuseable individual and thanks to their unacceptable circunstances players usually ending been a injury-prone players,,,

just if the bear would be his karma? then wilson should change his perssonal presentation, either shaved for good or don't shave at all untill he become a retired player,,,

WILSON has very little to guarantee to any team for his durability in the bullpen, injuries wouldn't go away just like that, once a injury has been repaired but fail to go away its a difficult goal to achieve,,

"He's still not close to signing but has narrowed list from 9 or 10 teams to 5 "

It sounds like 25 teams told his agent they're not interested.

This.

Brian Wilson appears to be ready to retire, then again he lose nothing by staying around in this league,,

December 29, 2012  01:33 PM ET

This guy is the perfect New York Yankee!

December 29, 2012  02:24 PM ET

I really don't care what he looks like and how crazy he is. All I care is whether or not he can pitch. Given he's coming off TJ surgery number 2, I'm thinking he'll be good for scrap work at best.

Seems to me he also needs to work on his mechanics. Just sayin...

December 29, 2012  02:25 PM ET

I would like to see the list of those 5 teams who wants a man coming off TJ surgery and didn't pitch at all in 12.

December 29, 2012  02:37 PM ET

if he wont shave the beard then make him dye it platinum blond

December 29, 2012  05:02 PM ET

Yes it is time for the beard to Go!! New team ,new theme Please!!!!

December 29, 2012  05:35 PM ET

If he comes to NY, stick with NL, if he's throwing like before the Mets will trade him!! Do a 1 Yr deal!

there should be at least one interested team,, could it be the mets?? or the marlins??

December 29, 2012  07:14 PM ET

then there is very little room for extra confidence with Wilson, who can guarantee his health its sealed enough??

December 29, 2012  07:14 PM ET
