08:29 AM ET 12.29 | Dwyane Wade said Friday that he didn't mean to kick Charlotte's Ramon Sessions in the groin during Wednesday night's game. Regardless of the intent of Wade's punt to Sessions' lower region, the NBA suspended him -- without pay -- for Friday's game against the Pistons. "It was a bang-bang play, one you kind of needed to be there for," Wade said after Friday's morning shootaround at The Palace of Auburn Hills. "It was something that was looked at over video review and can be taken any kind of way. I'm looking forward to moving on, playing with my team [Saturday night]." Coach Erik Spoelstra said he and the Heat "had his back," and he added that the Heat accepted the league's suspension although it didn't agree with it. The Heat released a statement to the South Florida media covering the team Friday afternoon, basically saying it felt the suspension was unfair based on Wade's past.

D Wade and the Heat must think we are all either sightless or mindless. It is a given the Wade is a notorious kicker on a lot of his shot selections and the only thing here thats surprising is that this kung fu style happen while dribbling which is even more startling now that he's incorporated it in his aresenal! Apple!

We all know Wade is a great player, and also a dirty player, but lets move on. He should try kicking Perkins, or David West next time

I saw the clip over and over, and regardless of what the fans who just love to hate the heat think it was an accident.
Maybe it was retaliation, my only issue is why was D12 fined but Wade suspended?
Then again over the years KG has been getting in scuffles, never been fined or suspended, hitting guys below the belt and no reprimand of any kind, yet Wade is dirty?
I watched this guy get his shoulder pulled out of place and no foul call, watched his shoulder get dislocated and nothing!
So forgive me if am not sorry for Ramon Sessions what so ever.
When you attack a dog, you get bit.
And KG gets away with every damn thing!
NBA has gone soft, run by idiots like Stern and Adam.
Complete goofs....complete idiots!

Wade stood up to Perkins when Perkins kicked him on a dunk last season.
You forgot?
Wade shoved KG when he screen ambushed Mike Miller last season too.
You seem to forget, Wade doesn't back down to anyone.
I've seen him get too many cheap shots in the past and he has had enough of it.
Call it dirty if you play ball on the court with a skirt.
Your preference.

You are a heat hater and talk smack cause you won two season games vs the heat by 20.
Come playoff time you won't be hitting those 3 pointers, Amare and Melo still won't work and Melo will remain ringless again.
Knicks can't be any of the elite tier teams in the west in a 7 game series.
It's ring or bust for Melo this year, it's gonna like damn bad for guys like Durant and Griffin to get one before him....
Lebron knew this and got his, can Melo actually do the same?
Better hope Felton and Melo heel up quick.

Jason Terry was not known as a dirty player and was suspended for a game in the play offs for punching junk.

Just saying...

But not KG for hitting Frye in the groin?
KG was involved in the ROndo/Humphries scuffle and everyone involved except KG was ejected?
Really?

If it was an accident Wade would show remorse. He showed none what soever. Guilty as charged.

wade is a dirty player period... he gets away with stuff because of who he is... you doubt it??? this is just not one isolated incident... rondo... kobe... darren collision... and there are more... these are not/were not just hard fouls... he is a dirty player and if the league/stern had more balls, they would deal with him/suspend him for more than one game...

I am surprised Wade didn't take the opportunity to apologize to Sessions, albeit it was a "bag-bang" play as suggested. That alone, speaks volumes of his character.

No one is saying "wear a skirt" a play, but this is the NBA, and the players from other teams are also your "co-workers". Have some freaking respect!
