08:53 AM ET 12.29 | Andy Ludwig, the offensive coordinator at San Diego State for the last two seasons, appears to be Gary Andersen's top choice to run Wisconsin's offense in 2013. Ludwig watched UW's Rose Bowl practice Friday and according to two sources is poised to be named UW's offense coordinator. Andersen, who arrived in Los Angeles Friday, told reporters after practice he still cannot announce any new hirings because Wisconsin state law requires the jobs to be posted for two weeks. "We're getting a lot closer," Andersen said. "There is a process you have to go through. I would think in the next three or four days we'll have the majority of them announced. We just have to go through the proper process."

Ludwig has done some good things out here. I think he can be a little too conservative at times, but that might work out well in wisky. We need some new blood out here in Sandy Eggo on the offensive side.
