Will Steve Sarkisian wind up with Eagles?

I don't know if Sarkisian is a good enough coach to go to the NFL, but I will tell you one thing for sure!!!! He needs to get out of Seattle, he has a hard time recruiting against teams like Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford and USC!!!

The Eagles need help on the O line and other spots, and I don't think this guy can fix that.

How about hiring a coach with respectable NFL experience.

Having watched Sark in Seattle for a few years I can tell you he'd at least attempt to bring a Pete Carroll-style enthusiasm to the Eagles, but I don't know if he'd be anywhere near ready for a HC spot in the NFL. He hasn't really gotten it done on the NCAA level yet, although it was a very strong turnaround from the Pre-Sark Huskies. Still, his teams have a lousy habit of beating the big teams and losing embarrassingly to the crappy ones (this year's season-ending loss to the lowly Washington State Cougars is a prime example). There are a lot of elements to such a problem, but most of those should be coachable if the coach can handle it.

Hell, there's talent there. Lots of good players on D. Jackson. McCoy.

They're not far from being good, but you can say that about most NFL teams.

It often boils down to QBs. How many really good QBs are on a crappy team?

And...how many really good QBs play behind a crappy O line?

I dislike Vick, but the Eagles O line this year has been terrible.

Vick made some public statements bashing O-line coach Howard Mudd. And they were well deserved.

I've hear that Norv Turner *might* be available after this season.. Yes? No? Maybe??

Ya know, all we really wanted since Oct was get Vick off the field, give Foles a chance and don't get him killed. The kid played 2 quarters with a broken throwing hand. I am looking forward to next year.

Agreed. Got as much playing time out of Foles as we were going to get behind those five turnstiles.
