*with Jason Thompson and Thomas Robinson at PF- the Kings DEF do not need PF- seeing as both are locked in for years

*John Salmons signed a contract and is their SF- and a pretty solid one- and have some draft picks still sitting behind him like Honeycutt

*SG- they just gave Marcus Thornton a ton of money

*PG- they have great depth with Evans and Thomas

-if they were to trade Cousins all they would be looking for in return is most likely a center....so i dont see it happening unless its to possibly Detroit for someone like Drummond perhaps

thats the thing- i am confused that Detroit is showing so much interest with those 2- it would only make sense they would have to trade one of them- and you know they are not dealing Monroe

I agree. I have no idea why they have some interest in a guy like Cousins when the have 2 talented and still developing front court players in Monroe and Drummond. If Detroit is looking at a Kings player, that should be Tireke Evans. He should help creat offense from the perimeter and maybe he will look to restart he's promising career with a team that really it's trying to compete and get in playoffs every year. Cousins won't change in Detroit he needs to go to a team that its in a win now situation where he feels the goals are bigger than his ego. Detroit it's not that place righ now.

ehh...since they have Evans and Thomas (who turned out to be a pretty darn good PG actually) jimmer has mostly played SG- all though his minutes are not that big....

-Sacramento does have some talent- but they need a veteran who can bring it togetehr and provide leadership- if they trade Cousins thats what i expect them to get

-PF they have a really good situation with Jason Thompson and Thomas Robinson locked up long term....Salmons is not a bad SF...Marcus Thornton is a solid 2 guard....and Evans really is a decent PG- they have talent- they just have no leadership and no veterans to hold players accountable- and there is only one basketball for a lot of guys who's best thing is scoring- trade Cousins for a couple vets that play defense and can provide leadership IF you decide to deal him...

Boston will not give up Rondo to get Cousins.

Celtics aren't trading Rondo. If only Green would step up we could see some faster paced basketball.
