10:23 AM ET 12.30 | Perry Minton, the attorney representing one of two University of Texas players suspended from Saturday's Alamo Bowl, said Saturday night that allegations are untrue that Jordan Hicks was involved in a sexual assault early Friday morning. "I have spent about an hour-and-a-half speaking with Jordan Hicks, and I can say based on that discussion I am very confident that everything that happened from the first drink at the bar to the time everyone said goodnight was entirely consensual and above board," Minton said. "Nothing that was done by him or Mr. McCoy was against the law. Period." Both Hicks, a junior linebacker, and Case McCoy, a junior backup quarterback, were suspended Friday for violating team rules. This came a few hours after news reports surfaced that San Antonio police were investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman early Friday morning in a downtown hotel room.

And this is why players have to be on their best behavior when they're on the road.

The words "consensual", "hotel room" and "my client" never end well for anyone involved. They are gonna have to start having the Herm Edwards "talk" given to college kids now.

Good point!!! The Longhorns have a "Curfew" and Hicks wasn't in by the curfew time. If he was in his room, this would have never happened. That is the "Bottom line"!!!

You called? What's the deal, Colonel? On the Pick'em thread you said it was an improvement. I'll have you know my grandmother used to call me her "pretty boy". Now you sound like you're dissing my grandmother. Those are fightin' words, Sir. LOL
Oh, and yes I probably deserve this ugly mug. Avi bets are just plain stupid...but all in fun.
