I think most fans have already fast forwarded to the 2013/13 season. Even if they do play, the awarding of the Stanly Cup will be a joke with a big asterisk against it. Bettman is laughable as commissioner and the NHL has reduced itself to a minor league. Too bad, so sad. CYA

I don't think it'd have an asterisk. Nobody begrudges the Rangers for the 94 Cup. And to be frank, it would probably be them celebrating come summer this year anyways.

Heck, we might even get another Vancouver riot out of the whole deal!

Oh, and does anybody have a plate of crow for Seth Jones? USA-Slovakia will be a great game, with the loser in the favoured relegation round....

Dont buy the whole asterisk thing at all...IMO all teams will be full throttle WHEN the puck drops.

They will get to go to see the President anyways but think of this the Leafs seem to always get off to a good start in a shortened season that might be enough to stop their playoff drought oh that's right I picked that they'd make the playoffs win one playoff game and BB would be rewarded with a 5 year extension

My vote is for BB to get a 100 year extension. That's how much I like the Leafs!

I know that hockey fans are notorious "forgetters", but Bettman doesn't deserve a free ride here. I still want to see a lot of empty arena seats. Same treatment baseball got. Bettman must go after the CBA is signed. He's done too much damage to the sports reputation!

kessel always seems to be good for half a season, could this be the first year in 70 that a leaf wins the art ross?
