Michael Vick ready for a new start

05:50 PM ET 12.30 | Earlier last week it was confirmed that Micheal Vick would be starting the Eagles season finale against the New York Giants after missing the last few starts due to losing the job to Nick Foles. But yesterday it was also confirmed that fans shouldn't be tricked into believing that Vick starting on Sunday means that he is staying in Philly, because Michael Vick is ready to move on. "I have to just sit back and think about what has transpired and look at the situation as a whole," Vick said. "Of course, you would like to come back and play. I love the organization and I love what they've done for me. That's genuine, and I'm not just saying that." Vick's rise and fall with the Eagles has been well documented. After being released from prison for dog fighting, Vick was a shell of his former self... or so we thought. It turns out only Vick's reputation and his conscious were damaged, not his God-given ability to play football. He sat on the sidelines for a season in Philly before usurping Kevin Kolb after an injury to the starter in the first week of the 2010 season. With Vick bursting back onto the scene and some massive transactions, the hype around the Eagles was enormous. But Vick and company have failed to impress the past two seasons and he's now fallen almost as quickly as he rose from the ashes in Philadelphia.
